2 don't drink and blog

It's a sunday afternoon. Nagrerecover pa ko mula sa all night drinking na sinabayan pa ng slight na pagluluksa sa pagkamatay ng sobrang cute na si AJ Perez. In short I'm bored. So i decided to go out, alone. pagdating sa mall. nagpagupit, bumili ng damit (na on sale kasi ayoko makonsensya), at bumili ng MGA libro hehe, opo i'm a BookPig. on my way home, may nakita akong purple shirt sa bangketa na may silver rubberized print. Ang nakasulat, "don't drink and blog". gusto ko sana picturan pero natakot naman ako maagawan ng fone, kaya i-dinrawing ko na lang ang nakita ko. Infernes 95% accurate naman sya.


ang sagot ko naman, "WEH!".  Kung krimen man ang BUI o blogging under the Influence, malamang ako ang kainuman ni Ivler sa kulungan. hehe. I'm a drinker, a heavier drinker compared to an average drinker. haha. based on statistics yan. My first taste of booze was when i was in high skul at sobrang bihira lang nun, purely curiousity lang. Syempre mahigpit ang skul na pinanggalingan ko sa mga ganyang bagay. Naaalala ko pa noon, hindi maganda ang tingin namin sa mga classmate namin na umiinom. Look who's talking now. (mga friendship throw your hands in the air yeah!).

Siguro sadyang pinanganak ako para maging alcoholic haha. charing. Sadya kasing mataas ang aking alcohol threshold. Naranasan ko na malasing ng major major at yun yung tipong lahat ata ng sulok sinukahan ko, parang blessing lang ng bahay. nakikipaglandian pa ko nun habang sumusuka. suka-smile-suka-kwento-suka ulet-tawa-suka-kiss-suka atbp. hahaha. yun lang yun, after nun, never na ulit ako nalasing/nagpalasing. Siguro yun ang baptism by fire ko sa drinking, kailangan mo muna malasing ng sobra para malaman mo ang limit mo para sa susunod you know when to stop or to drink even more.Sa ngayon twing umiinom ako, pag tinamaan na ko, inaantok lang ako. di ako umeeksena. hehe. Isang instance pa na uminom kami ng friend kong si elton, nung tinamaan ako, tinulugan ko sya. Di ko talaga napigilan, literal na tulog ako sa bar habang nakaupo. pag gising ko tapos na nyang ubusin ang natira haha. 

Ok na ok sa kin ang taong marunong uminom. Marunong meaning, balanse lang sya pumarteeey, syempre parte yan ng pakikisama at enjoyment. Kabwisit naman ung sobrang malasing tulad ng kapitbahay naming si mang rey na lasenggo. sa umaga Gin ang kape nya, pag mainit ang panahon Gin ang halo-halo nya. sa tanghali, sa hapon, at sa gabi bago matulog, di ko lang sure kung decaf ba yung Gin nya, try mo. feeling ko nga pati pan saing nya eh gin din. Lahat na din ata ng gutter at humps sa lugar namin ay napagpalipasan nya na ng gabi. Bongga. 

dahil i'm a real alcohol fanatic, let me share some interesting facts about booze:


People who drink in moderation tend to be healthier and live longer than those who either abstain or abuse alcohol. Moderation means less than 0.01% of blood / breath alcohol concentration.
(In short, mas maagang mamamatay ang mga KJ at Pa-virgin, haha!)

Here’s a tip if you’ll be driving after drinking. Know that the alcohol’s effect can be limited by not drinking more than 1 drink each hour. (meaning, wag sabik sa alak, one cocktail per hour lang)

Moderate consumption of alcohol does not appear to contribute to weight gain. (di yan beer belly, baka tuna belly at rice belly pa kamo)
Distilled spirits like ginger wine, vodka, absinthe, whiskey, brandy, rum, tequila and gin contain no carbohydrates, no fats of any kind, and no cholesterol. However, alcohol content is 35%. (dalawang bagay lang yan, ang tumaba o ang malasing)

Over half of the hospitals in the largest 65 Metropolitan areas in the U. S. have reported that they offer alcohol beverage service to their patients. (cevered kaya yan ng Intellicare?)

Alcohol does not destroy brain cells. In fact, the moderate consumption of alcohol is often associated with improved cognitive functioning. (huwag isisi sa alak ang likas mong kabobohan, pinaglihi ka sa chichirya ng nanay mo)

High protein foods help slow the absorption of alcohol into the body. They include cheese, peanut butter, peanuts or any kind of red meat. (magbaon ng peanut butter sandwhich sa susunod na gimik)

The alcohol in drinks of alcohol content less than 15% or more than 30% tend to be absorbed into the body more slowly.
Restaurants and bars often provide free non-alcoholic beverages to designated drivers, like fresh lime + water. (di uso to sa pinas, wag umasa)

Alcohol abstinence leads to increase risk of heart diseases. Simply put, not drinking any alcohol increases a person’s chances of suffering heart diseases. (Hala, watcha waiting for, shot na)
Many of the health benefits of alcohol consumption are lost if it is not consumed on a regular basis. (parang vitamins, Don’t skip!!)

The French call it ‘wood mouth’
Germans refer to it as ‘wailing of the cats’
Italians call it ‘out of tune’
Malaysians call it ‘lo’
Norwegians identify it as ‘carpenters in the head’
Spaniards call it ‘backlash’

A mixed drink containing carbonated beverage is absorbed into the body more quickly than straight shots. (wag na mag chaser, choosy ka pa)

In the United States Pharmacopoeia, alcohol is listed as medicinal. (I’m sick all of a sudden)

Beginning to drink early in life does not necessarily lead to problems later in life. (start early!)

additional facts, nabasa ko sa isang health magazine, na para sa mga potato couch na obese, inaadvise nila ang pag inom ng 1 to 2 bottles of beer everyday para mapabilis ang metabolism. katumbas ito ng iyong regular exercise. Malaki din sa mga porsyento ng mga nagagahasang babae sa mga party at gimikan ay yung mga babaeng di marunong uminom kaya madaling malasing (feeling ko lang to haha). Aside from this interesting facts, what's important is that we keep everything in balance. Tandaan ang lahat ng sobra ay masama. Enjoy drinking. Cheers!
